Charlie’s parents wanted to take out their son out of the hospital, and to let him die at home.According to their lawyers, Charlie’s family is willing to pay all costs if needed.
However, the hospital disagreed with the request, saying there were no doctors that will oversee Charlie’s death at home.Aside from that, the hospital also expressed concerns about getting the right medical equipment into Charlie’s home, and suggested a hospice and a mediator instead.
The court has given Charlie’s family to decide until Wednesday afternoon to find a medical practitioner before making its final decision.
Previously, Charlie’s parents, Chris and Connie, was about to take their son to the US and get treated by Dr.Michio Hirano at the Columbia University Medical Center in New York.However, the London's Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), which is caring for Charlie, accused Dr.Hirano of bringing false hope to the ill baby’s parents.
