Drake and Josh is one of Nickelodeon’s most successful series that had a proud run from 2004 to 2007. The series centers around two stepbrothers and of course a plotting evil little sister who try to live together in peace and harmony. The show’s lead actors, Drake Bell and Josh Peck, have since then had a brotherly connection even outside of the show. However, things didn’t go too well when one brother wasn’t invited to the other’s wedding.

Peck was married to his long-time girlfriend, Paige O’Brien on June 17. Some of Peck’s close friends were invited to the wedding including his fellow Viners David Dobrik, Jason Nash, and Liza Koshy. Peck’s co-star on Grandfathered, Jason Stamos, was also present at the event.

Peck even posted a picture on Instagram that featured both Stamos and Nash, jokingly captioning about them being his daddies.

All things don’t go as peacefully as most people thought because in the midst of the joyous event for Peck, there was someone who took his uninvited rage to social media.

Peck’s on-screen stepbrother, Bell was seemingly not invited to the wedding. Out of Bell’s rage, he decided to say a few statements on Twitter.

Bell did not hesitate on the extremity of his statements tweeting out, “When you’re not invited to the wedding the message is clear…”

Bell follows up with another tweet saying, “True colors have come out today. Message is loud and clear. Ties are officially cut. I’ll miss you brotha.”

If Bell wasn’t hurt enough, there was more to come for him. Reports show that the brains behind Drake and Bell, Dan Schneider, was invited to the wedding.

A source commented on behalf of Bell stating, "Drake was upset that Dan Schneider was there because he and Josh were friends years ago, he thought he would have gotten an invite, even though they never talk."

It was shocking to fans hearing the news that Peck had not invited Bell to the wedding. In reality, the two are almost literally brothers, rubbing off that vibe to a lot of people.

However, after all that drama, Bell had long since deleted his tweets.

Fans can now hold their heads up high again and feel the brotherly love because the so-called dispute between these former co-stars has finally subsided. Bell himself has spoken on the issue.

Bell sat down in an interview with E! Online to clear up the information between him and Peck. To everyone’s relief, Bell spills that he and Peck are still in very good terms even after his blow out on Twitter.

He expresses his surprise to hearing of Peck’s wedding exclaiming, “I kinda shot from the hip. I was like, 'This is wrong! Why am I finding out about this on social media?'"

In reality, Bell was simply overwhelmed with emotions.

"I just felt like a bummed out brother, just kind of hurt. But it does nothing to our relationship."

Bell says that he and Peck share a special friendship.

"I mean, we're brothers. We're friends. He's been one of my dearest friends for the past 18 years. He's one of the people that I know for a fact, no matter what happens in life, I can call Josh at any time of the day and he'll be right there for me. If he's not in some other country or something, then he'll be there."

Bell simply calls the event a fairly normal thing in comparison to what actual brothers fight about.

Some rumors circulate at hints at a potential Drake and Josh reunion, but that’s still one lengthy discussion to talk about.

In the meantime, fans can now take a breath of fresh air and enjoy the same brotherly love they used to witness on-screen. Or as the show would put it, brotha-ly love.
