Responding to a low approval rating, President Donald Trump affirmed that he enjoys the huge support from the Trump base, reported CNBC.

He tweeted on August 7 that the “Trump base is far bigger & stronger than ever before (despite some phony Fake News polling).” The president even cited “rallies in Penn, Iowa, Ohio” as a proof of the people’s support for his mandate.

As of August 7, 6:58 PM., his tweet was retweeted 18,661 times and received 85,717 “likes.”

On August 9, he tweeted something to affirm his stature as president:  “After 200 days, rarely has any Administration achieved what we have achieved..not even close!”

He ended his tweet with a warning: “Don't believe the Fake News Suppression Polls!”

The result of a CNN poll conducted on August 7 regarding the president’s performance revealed a 56 percent disapproval from Americans.

Even if the economy of the US appears to please many Americans, it apparently makes little effect on his approval rating.  Based on the poll, it registered at 38 percent.

The issue concerning the alleged interference of the Russian government in the 2016 US election still burdens his administration. In addition, there are goals he presented in his campaign platform that have yet to be realized.
