[아시아뉴스통신=레악카나 기자] The Council of Ministers of Thailand approved Education Ministry's proposal to move school opening from May 16 to July 1 as a counter measure for the virus.

Government spokeswoman Narumon Pinyosinwat added the ministry will change learning method suited for curriculum at all levels for the school year. The Education Ministry will also prepare for online classes as a replacement and will check suitability, compatibility of technology today and budget needed.

No announcement was made when online classes will begin.
