요한계시록 / 13:1-18 
환란의 절정: 바다와 땅에서 나온 짐승의 시대

“저가 권세를 받아 그 짐승의 우상에게 생기를 주어 
그 짐승의 우상으로 말하게 하고 
또 짐승의 우상에게 경배하지 아니하는 자는 
몇이든지 다 죽이게 하더라”(계 13:15)

자연의 재난이 극대화되면서 전 세계가 혼란에 빠지고
바다에서 나온 짐승이 세계의 통치자로 등장합니다.

또 땅에서 나온 짐승으로 상징되는 
세계 종교의 지배자가 세계 통치자의 조력자로 등장합니다. 
그 환란의 절정을 향하면서 땅에서 나온 짐승은
바다에서 나온 짐승의 우상을 세우고 
그 우상에게 절하게 강요합니다. 
또 오른손이나 이마에 666표를 받지 않으면 
아무도 매매를 못하게 합니다. 

그때가 오면 거듭난 의인들은 
감당 못할 어려움을 겪게 될 것입니다.
그때가 바로 성도의 인내와 믿음이 필요한 시대입니다.
 
그러나 주님께서는, 
빌라델비아 교회의 성도들에게 주신 약속처럼, 
적은 능력으로도 진리의 복음을 지킨 의인들에게 
시험의 때를 면하게 지켜 주십니다.

“그 날들을 감하지 아니할 것이면 
모든 육체가 구원을 얻지 못할 것이나 
그러나 택하신 자들을 위하여 
그 날들을 감하시리라”(마 24:22).

그러므로 우리 의인들은 
환란의 때를 두려워할 것이 아니라, 
오직 지금 하루하루를 
진리의 복음을 충성되게 전파해야 할 것입니다.

Interpretation on Revelation #14 / Rev 13:1-18
The climax of the tribulation: 
the age of two beasts from the sea and the earth

“He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed” (Rev 13:15).

As natural disasters are magnified, the beast from the sea emerges as the mighty ruler of the world.
Also, the ruler of the world religions, symbolized by the beast from the earth, appears as an assistant to the king of the world.
As we approach the climax of the tribulations, the beast from the earth sets up the image of the beast that came out of the sea and forces us to bow down to that image.
Also, if we do not receive 666 votes on our right hand or forehead, we will not be able to buy or sell.

When that time comes, the righteous who have been born again will face tremendous difficulties beyond expression.
That is when the patience and faith of the saints are needed.
However, the Lord protects the righteous, who kept the Gospel of truth with little power, from the times of temptation, just like the promise given to the saints of the Philadelphian Church.

“And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened” (Mat 24:22).

Therefore, we, the righteous, should not be afraid of the time of tribulations.
Instead, we should faithfully preach the Gospel of truth now, day by day.
