[아시아뉴스통신=서인수 기자] 부산 해운대에 위치한 센텀아트홀과 세계적인 성악가 카트리나 크룸파네(Katrina Krumpane)가 미국에서 설립한 INSTITUTE OF VOICE AND PERFORMING ARTS가 지난 13일 센텀아트홀에서 문화예술 발전을 위한 상호 협력 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다.
13일 부산 센텀아트홀에 따르면 이번 협약은 양 기관이 상호 신뢰와 협력을 바탕으로 문화예술 교육과 공연예술 분야의 발전을 도모하고, 예술 인재 양성과 문화예술 활성화에 기여하기 위해 마련됐다.
협약에 따라 양 기관은 △보컬 및 공연예술 교육 프로그램 개발 및 운영 △공연 및 문화예술 콘텐츠 공동 기획 및 개최 △예술 인재 발굴 및 양성을 위한 교육 및 교류 협력 △문화예술 관련 정보 및 네트워크 교류 △공연 및 문화예술 행사 개최를 위한 상호 협력 △기타 양 기관의 발전과 문화예술 활성화를 위한 다양한 협력 사업을 함께 추진하게 된다.
또한 양 기관은 협력 사업과 관련된 공연, 교육 및 문화예술 행사에 대해 상호 홍보와 교류 활동을 적극 지원하며, 지역 문화예술 저변 확대와 국제 문화예술 교류 활성화를 위해 긴밀히 협력할 예정이다.
한편 이번 협약을 바탕으로 오는 6월 14일 부산 센텀아트홀에서 ‘제2회 코리안 아메리칸 뮤직 페스티벌(KOREAN AMERICAN MUSIC FESTIVAL)’이 개최될 예정이다. 이번 페스티벌은 한국과 미국의 음악가들이 함께하는 국제 음악 행사로, 양국의 문화예술 교류와 글로벌 예술 네트워크 확장에 의미 있는 무대가 될 것으로 기대를 모으고 있다.
고민지 센텀아트홀 대표는 “이번 협약을 통해 부산 지역 문화예술 발전은 물론, 국제적인 공연예술 교류의 새로운 기반을 마련하는 계기가 될 것”이라고 전망했다.

Sign MOU for the Development of Arts and Culture
Centum Art Hall, located in Haeundae, Busan, and the Institute of Voice and Performing Arts, founded in the United States (Silicon Valley) by world-renowned soprano Katrina Krumpane, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for mutual cooperation in the development of arts and culture on March 13 at Centum Art Hall.
This agreement was established to promote the advancement of cultural and artistic education and the performing arts through mutual trust and collaboration between the two organizations, while also contributing to the development of artistic talent and the revitalization of cultural arts.
Under the agreement, the two institutions will collaborate on the following initiatives:
• Development and operation of vocal and performing arts education programs
• Joint planning and hosting of performances and cultural arts content
• Educational cooperation and exchange for discovering and nurturing artistic talent
• Sharing of information and networks related to arts and culture
• Mutual cooperation in organizing performances and cultural arts events
• Various other collaborative projects aimed at the growth of both organizations and the promotion of arts and culture
In addition, both organizations will actively support mutual promotion and exchange activities related to performances, education, and cultural arts events. They also plan to work closely together to expand the cultural arts foundation in the region and to promote international cultural and artistic exchanges.
Meanwhile, based on this agreement, the “2nd Korean American Music Festival” will be held on June 14 at Busan Centum Art Hall. The festival will be an international music event bringing together musicians from Korea and the United States and is expected to serve as a meaningful platform for cultural exchange between the two countries and the expansion of a global artistic network.
This agreement not only contributes to the development of Busan’s cultural and artistic landscape but also establishes a new foundation for international performing arts exchange.
