[Asia News = Reporter Reakkana] Former GFriend member Sowon will be starting a new career as an actress under her legal name Kim So Jung. Previously on July 29th, it was reported Sowon is in talks to sign an exclusive contract with IOK Company, home to Jo In Sung, Go Hyun Jung, Kim Ha Neul, singer Jang Yoon Jung, former Secret member Hyosung, and more.
On August 2nd, IOK Company announced that Sown has signed an exclusive contract with them as an actress. The agency commented, "Sowon will be starting a new career with IOK Company under the name Kim So Jung. We plan to fully support Kim So Jung to excel as an actress. We ask for your continued support and much attention to actress Kim So Jung's future activities."
